For over twenty years, I have worked exclusively in scratchboard. This medium allows me to create the appearance of a woodcut or etching with the immediacy of a drawing. While these images may look like prints, each is an original drawing.

Living in the most rural county in the state of Massachusetts, I find myself moved by the beauty of winter landscapes. This love of winter, along with my passion for Yuletide traditions and myth, inspires many of my illustrations.

My work has been exhibited throughout Vermont and Massachusetts including a solo exhibit at the Brattleboro Museum and Art Center (BMAC) in 2016. My art has been featured in datebooks, calendars and magazines, both regionally and nationally.
