My journey into creating my art was a life-long hunt for a medium besides photography that inspired me. Color, texture and design were my inspiration to become an Interior Decorator and also what drew me to the new art form of Nuno Felting 10 years ago. I love the endless color combinations and the exquisite texture I can create.

I was born and raised in Providence, RI; however, when I was 19 years old I decided to follow my parents to South Florida. There I completed my college education and also attended and completed my training in photography at The Art Institute, where I met my husband.

After 40 years in Florida we decided that we wanted to tour and experience the wonders of the United States and a result we have been traveling for six years as full-time RVers. I’m often asked how and where I work and the answer is outside in nature or my 6′ table sets up perfectly in our 40′ motor coach on a not so perfect day.

Some of my color inspirations come from the nature I experience…greens and browns of the woods of the northwest, pinks, purples, yellow & orange of magnificent flowers or blues and greens of the beautiful waters in the Florida Keys. I have a wonderful palette of colors all around
to use as inspiration.

Creating my Nuno Felted scarves fills a part of my soul and at the same time I leave a part of myself in each one
