I am an artist and applied scientist. The practice of the visual arts is and has been an integral part of who I am and how I express my thoughts and emotions. My artistic practice deals with the nature of reality and perception, man’s separation from the environment, minimalist landscape, and the intersection of art and technology. My disciplines have included photography, mixed media, holography, and water sculpture. I practiced holography and water sculpture for over 30 years and have practiced photography and mixed media for over 50 years. I have exhibited my art in two museums and several art galleries in the United States. My education includes a PhD in Engineering from UCLA and UCLA non-credit studies in life drawing and painting.
