I am a shape maker. Whatever the subject, I see the beautiful individual shapes and enjoy the way they intermingle with each other to form equally beautiful and interesting compositions. My watercolor and graphic arts experience combine to interpret these compositions and give expression to what nature provides. This series, Beyond Numbers, is an artistic journey that has evolved over two decades. In it I have given an artistic view of various scriptures that I hope will stir the curiosity of viewers and inspire them to look “beyond the numbers” into the words that have inspired me and my art.
