In my work I explore the opposing relationships within perceived societal norms. Working with clay has allowed me to express my sense of self through human-like sculptures that represent the internal duality and friction that came with growing up too fast in a dysfunctional household. Sometimes I feel like I’m rebuilding parts of myself that I can love after a lifetime of being taught to feel otherwise.
